Dresser Wayne Demonstrates Commitment to Green Initiatives with ISO 14001:2004 Certification

AUSTIN, TX January 7, 2009 — Dresser Wayne, a global innovator of retail fuel dispensers and technologies, has reached another milestone in its ongoing plan to minimize environmental impact and to incorporate more green practices into its operations around the world. The company has received ISO 14001:2004 certification for its Austin, Texas operation from Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance (LRQA), a third party registrar for quality and environmental management systems. Dresser Wayne has also earned ISO 14001:2004 certifications for its manufacturing sites in Brazil and Italy.

ISO 14001 certification recognizes a company's control of its impact on the environment. According to the certification standards, the organization must identify all potential environmental influences and associated risks. Another criterion is actively minimizing impact as well as maintaining an emphasis on continual improvement. Only those companies with excellent environmental programs qualify for this globally-recognized certification.
